NEUROGENX - Neuropathy Pain Management Procedure

Are you experiencing burning, tingling and numbness of the feet?

Do you have balance issues?

Is the Neuropathy Diabetes related?

FDA approved Neuropathy Pain Management Procedure

Patients with Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy endure exhausting pain, balance issues and sleep disorders associated with the breakdown of the peripheral nerves in the feet and lower legs. Commonly reported symptoms include a burning sensation, tingling and numbness, muscle weakness, changes in foot shape that lead to areas of increased pressure, excessively dry feet and cracked skin in addition to balance issues.

At Central Jersey Ankle & Foot Care Specialists, we offer state of the art treatments by Neurogenx. This treatment can help alleviate the painful symptoms of neuropathy by combining Electronic Signaling Technology (EST) with an integrated nerve block (INb). Most patients will require an average of 10 treatments and will notice a dramatic reduction in pain with this successful combination of electrosignaling and modified block.

The Electronic Signal Treatment Process

The process will take approximately 30 minutes. Electro-pads are placed on the calf and foot area and electronic signaling begins. An injection (integrated nerve block) is given into the ankle to facilitate the efficiency of the electro-signal therapy.

The benefits of Electronic Signal Therapy allow for:

  • Increased cellular growth
  • Increased metabolic activity
  • Energized cells
  • Reduction of swelling around the nerves
  • Stimulation of nerve function
  • Increased oxygen & blood directly to the nerve
  • Promotes increased wound healing
  • Provides anti-inflammatory action
  • Reduces scar tissue development

The patient has the ability to attain increased movement once again with an effective and favorable pain management treatment plan. This procedure is covered by most insurances plans. To confirm that your medical plan covers this procedure, please call our office.

Patient Testimonials:

"I have been coming to Dr. Mullin for almost 8 years and I couldn't be happier with the care I receive.  Dr. Mullin is on top of everything when it comes to my health.  He's very thorough.  I have been suffering from diabetic neuropathy for some time now.  Medication did not work for me at all.  Then Dr. Mullin told me about a new procedure that could help me.  Over the course of 5 weeks I had 10 treatments at Dr. Mullin's office and what a difference it has made. My left foot especially was numb before the treatments began.  Now my leg feels stronger and my balanced has improved tremendously.  I am so pleased that I went ahead with the Electronic Signal Treatment along with the nerve block therapy.  It has helped me get my mobility back and medications could not do that for me.  I am forever grateful to Dr. Mullinand his staff.  I will most certainly recommend Dr Mullin!"  ~ Helen S.
